Archway's Mission
Because everyone’s need is special,
Archway Programs, Inc. offers a wide array of people, services, products
and facilities wholly committed to excellence and solely dedicated to
assisting children and adults to succeed.
Who we are...
Since 1965, ARCHWAY PROGRAMS, INC., has
been a private non-profit human services organization serving people
with special needs as well as typical clients, ranging from infants and
young children through adults and senior citizens, within two divisions:
Education Services (includes Special Education and Early Childhood
programs), and Human Services. With a staff of 500, Archway currently
operates 20 programs serving up to 3,500 students and clients in the
eight counties in the South Jersey area.
Archway's 35-acre main campus is situated
on a beautiful wooded lake spanning Waterford and Evesham Townships,
New Jersey. Educational and Human Services programs include early
intervention and childcare, three special needs schools, before and
after school care, adolescent treatment, group homes, adolescent and
adult mental health counseling, and senior citizen day care.
From its beginning, Archway has grown in
response to community needs, the enactment of various federal and state
legislation mandating services and funding, a growing recognition by the
society of the special needs of handicapped children and adults,
including senior citizens, and a reputation for professional expertise
and innovation. Archway's budget is approximately $20 million.
In order to effectively deliver these
services, the Divisions function synergistically in order to guarantee
that our mission truly covers ten decades, five generations, and a
century of special children and adults.
