Adult Counseling & Therapy


A group-oriented day program addressing the unique needs of adults suffering with severe persistent mental illness. ACT accepts referrals from any source. ACT intake staff regularly interacts with referring families, boarding homes, hospitals such as Camden County H.S.C. and Ancora, and other service providers.

Services Provided:

  • Wellness and recovery

  • Group counseling topics such as coping skills, social skills, life skills, anger management, relationship building, comedy/laughter, goal attainment, spirituality, mental health, and others...

  • 1:1 counseling

  • Case-management

  • Work readiness skills training & job placement, education linkages

  • Specialized group for those over 60 years old

  • Medication monitoring & psychiatric care

  • Social & recreational activities

  • Spirituality support

  • Creative Arts counseling including music, creative writing, arts & crafts

  • Support groups for consumers with history of substance use/abuse

  • State of the Art Computer Lab donated by the Archway Foundation

Service Area - Camden County and parts of Gloucester County

Funding - Medicaid, 3rd Party Insurance & Private Pay
