Mission

Step by Step and Early Intervention Provider is committed to working in partnership with families & their children to foster and encourage the development of infants and young children with developmental delays and helping their families & children as a family centered Early Intervention.  Provider throughout Camden County, New Jersey.

Services

Family members, parents and staff work in collaboration & partnerships in all aspects of Early Intervention Services which may include:

  • Evaluation/assessment of the child's developmental areas 
  • Assessment of child and family needs
  • Written Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP)
  • Home based, community based, and center based Early Intervention services (if needed, up to two hours per week)
  • Flexible and individualized services
  • Parent/Family support and education
  • Social Services and nursing as well as networking with appropriated agencies
  • Specialized Services for children with Autism/Pervasive Developmental Disorder (PDD) and their families (for ages 18 months to 3 years of age)

Goals

  • Identify children birth to three years of age who have developmental delays
  • Evaluation in seven areas of development: adaptive, cognition, communication, fine motor, gross motor, sensory, social/emotional.
  • Provide integrated and comprehensive developmental intervention, as needed, focusing on the whole child and their family.
  • Integrated and comprehensive developmental intervention, as needed, focusing on the whole child and their family.
  • Offer support and education to families, guardians and/or primary caretakers.
  • Collaborate with other community/agencies to enhance enrolled families'  comprehensive early intervention services.
