A community based program that has a dual objective: 1. To motivate DYFS foster family youth, ages 8—17 to become active in their community. 2. To provide respite for the foster parents/guardians. Positive Encounters is comprised of a team that coordinates weekly age appropriate activities that demonstrate: · Personal accountability skills · Problem solving skills · Prevocational skills · Team building skills · Leadership skills For additional program information, contact:
