Is JUST KIDS for me? JUST KIDS operates in the elementary schools and in some districts, the middle schools under the name of Target Teen. Each site is licensed as a child daycare by the State of New Jersey. Children in grades kindergarten through six, receive a program of high quality care provided right in the child's school. Regular preschool students are served in some districts. Care is available before and after school and during scheduled early dismissals. JUST KIDS operates between the hours of 7:00 a.m. until the start of school and from the time of dismissal until 6:00 p.m. Subsidized childcare is available through county eligibility. What does the program offer?
Individual schools districts and Archway Programs realize there is a
great need for quality center-based school age care in our area. To
meet your needs and concerns, we have tailored a before and after school
child care program in a loving, safe and secure environment. Together,
staff and children make choices and plan a program which is both fun and
stimulating.
Is there flexibility in enrollment? YES! JUST KIDS offers a variety of schedules to meet your needs. Schedules of 5 days per week are offered in morning only, afternoon only or a combination of both. For changing work schedules or periodic use, Flex-tickets can be purchased and utilized as needed. Drop-in enrollment is also available to utilize in case of emergencies. For information on costs and enrollment. Please call our office and talk to one of our representatives at (856) 768-8190 or email us. Washington Twp. Just Kids Programs:
As part of our
agreement with the Washington Township School District, Just Kids pays a
“use of facilities fee”. As a result there is a $27 per child “space
usage fee” for any child enrolled in Just Kids. This fee is due at the
time of registration along with your registration fee.
Answer: Your options are to mail the Just Kids office a check, money order, or have the tuition deducted from you credit card or bank account through and EFT draft. This deduction can be set up on-going for each month or for one month only. Complete the form below and fax or send it to the Just Kids office. Please note that the childcare providers can not take your payment at the program. EZ-EFT Authorization Form 2008-2009
Answer: Flex tickets are available for periodic use of the program. Each ticket costs $21.00 and they are sold in books of 5 for $105.00. One ticket is good for one morning program, one afternoon program or both on the same day. They are prepaid and nonrefundable. Flex tickets can be used for the entire school year but can not be transferred to another school year. Your child must first be enrolled in the Just Kids program. Your enrollment selection would be for Flex Tickets. Provide Just Kids with the registration fee and payment for at least one book of tickets. The enrollment requirements in question #1 and #2 are the same for Flex schedules. The tickets then can be sent to your home or given to the program for you.
Answer: Yes, we just ask that you call the Just Kids office to inform us of what school you would like to observe. We will then inform the Just Kid Supervisor to expect you. This procedure is for the safety of all the children in the program as well as to prepare the Supervisor to have time to talk with you about the program once you get there.
Answer: Just Kids policy is to administer only medications for special needs if failure to take the medication would jeopardize the child’s health or prevent the child from attending childcare. If this criteria includes your child’s needs, there are two medication forms that need to be completed and signed by your attending physician prior to the medication being to the childcare providers for administration. These forms must be given to Lorin Powell, Just Kids Director for approval prior to the program starting any administration. Please contact JUST KIDS at 856-767-5767 or e-mail us
