Status:  Full-time, 12 month position

Program:  Camden Little Folk

Start Date:  June 15, 2009

Requirements:  Director is a full-time, 12 month position with responsibility for the oversight and implementation of a pre-school and other early childhood programs. 

Director also:

·         Serves as liaison to the Camden Board of Education Early Childhood Division

·         Participates in all Camden Early Childhood Division Meetings

·         Serves as liaison to the New Jersey Department of Children and Families and their county and local affiliates

Basic requirements according to NJ Child Care Licensing standards:

Master’s Degree in any field related to children or business

Or

Bachelor’s Degree plus one year of managerial or supervisory experience

Additional requirements:

·         Minimum of 5 years experience in early childhood education

·         Minimum of 5 years experience in managing a staff of 5 or more persons.

·         Experience in budgeting, resource development, grantsmanship and program management processes 

·         P-3 certification preferred

·         Knowledge of Creative Curriculum preferred
